2026 Event

We are once again holding an annual event to raise much needed funds for local charities. If you are a local charity who is registered with Revenue Canada you can apply to receive funds from the 100 men of South Dundas. There is a maximum of $5,000 to each charity. To apply, please send an email to:- 100southdundas@gmail.com. indicating that you would like to present your request for funding at our meeting on Wednesday, November 4th 2026. At the event, which will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Morrisburg, several charities will present their proposals. Please note that if you are successful, you will be asked to return in 2027 to provide an update on your winning proposal.  A list of those applying will be on this page as they become available. After the presentations, those in attendance will vote for the charities that they felt most deserving of funds. Last year we raised $9,500 and are hoping to exceed that this year. The two charities that received the funds in 2025 were:-

Dundas County Hospice who received $5,000 for their proposal for their  HospiceDay Program.  

Winchester District Memorial Hospital receives $4,500 for their proposal for a new cardiac monitor.

So far this year we have the following projects applying for funds:-

Iroquois Marine Search and Rescue – $3,119 to purchase new Garmin VHF Radio and AIS unit

Township of South Dundas Recreation – $5,000 for new Sports Pad at Earl Baker Park

Community Hub and Warming Centre – $4,000 for programming for community members

South Dundas United Football Club – $3,000 for soccer building roof replacement.

WDMH Foundation – $5,000 for 30 overbed tables for Dundas Manor Long Term Care Home.

Dundas County Hospice – $5,000 for Additional Hours Home Support Program.

Community Food Share – $2,500 for providing essential personal and household hygiene items to those in need. 

J.W. MacIntosh Community Support Services – $5,000 as follows – $3,000 for a defibrillator and $2,000 for Lighting and Benches.
