About
The 100 Men Who Care initiative is a deliberately simple fundraising concept. It seeks to provide busy men of all backgrounds with an opportunity to come together, network, and make a big impact in their local community with an easy commitment of just 2 hours per year.
The idea is simple:
A group of 100 (or more) men commit to donating $100 each. Collectively, they have $10,000 (at minimum) to donate to various local charities and causes. One night per year, the men get together for two hours to learn about the nominated charities and select their desired causes to support.
Any event costs (ie. snacks, venue) are donated so 100% of your $100 donation goes to charity. There will be beer and refreshments for sale in the bar.
The 1st Annual 100 Men Who Care South Dundas was in 2018, which enlisted 136 men. The second was held in 2019. There are hundreds of ‘100 Who Care” chapters around the world. Each chapter is structured differently by a local Committee.
The South Dundas Men’s Committee is:
- Scott Corden
- Nick Lee
- Mark Lewis
- Chuck Irvine
- Wally Baker
- Miles Harrison
- Doug Jarvis
- Jack Barkley
